All work begins by considering existing contextual conditions, moving proactively towards change and improved business outcomes. We believe that it is important to recognize that the leader or employee fits the organization, its expectations, and competency requirements. Linda’s coaching model is based on her business experience, academic training, as well as a Gestalt framework. This approach meets each client at their present level of effectiveness, sets goals for critical areas of development, and supports the client in learning and practicing behavior and approaches that achieve the desired business outcomes. Her approach to leadership development and coaching focuses on learning and applying effective behaviors that have a direct effect on improved organizational results and the demonstration of effective leadership competencies.

Organizational change, strategy, and group facilitation take into account present capabilities as well as the desired future state of the concern. To effectively bring an organization into partnership with its stakeholders, the direction and initiatives of the enterprise must be aligned throughout the organization and tied to each level in a meaningful manner. Successful change, strategy and group dynamics are ensured by studying the firm’s vision, capabilities, resources and environment; and linking each function or group in the organization to the overall strategy and to the necessary to realize the vision.

Cost effective individual assessment and psychological testing recognizes the need for good person-organization fit, whether the focus is large scale selection, a single job candidate, an incumbent, or a team of leaders. Her approach to team assessment and development considers attributes of the organization, desired leadership competencies, individual style differences, and developmental needs. Linda uses only the highest quality structured interviews, instruments, and assessments that have been rigorously researched and field tested.

Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Akron and pursuing professional training and certification in the Gestalt and ICF approaches to coaching, Linda spent over 20 years in a variety of Human Resources positions, generalist to executive. She worked for General Motors, Bendix Warner & Swasey, Nestlé, Pioneer-Standard Electronics (Agilysys), and Kenworth Truck Company among others. She has broad consulting experience in the manufacturing, scientific research, distribution, construction, healthcare, education (secondary and higher education), public sector, local government, not-for-profit, gas and oil, and financial services industries.
